What makes someone rich or poor?

Service Description

This study is for 5- to 10- year olds! The study will take place on a Zoom video call with a researcher! In this video chat, your child will hear stories about characters who differ in financial status (i.e. rich vs. poor). After each story, your child will be asked to share what they think about the characters. In this study, we want to learn more about what children think about people from different economic backgrounds. We are trying to understand how providing information about one’s wealth would influence children’s causal reasoning about wealth and personality judgments they make. We compensate participants $3/15 minutes, total amount of compensation varies per study.
